FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are Rancho West, a rapidly growing organic beer company based in Malibu, and we are looking for a highly motivated Field Sales Representative to join our team!

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for driving sales of our USDA-Certified organic beers throughout Greater Los Angeles and key areas in SoCal while building strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts.

Who You Are:

  • A passionate beer enthusiast with a deep knowledge of the industry. Bonus points for knowledge of organic beers and the health-conscious consumer.

  • A skilled communicator with the ability to confidently present and educate customers about Rancho West Organic beers, both verbally and in writing.

  • A natural relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills. Building and maintaining strong connections with retailers and consumers is key.

  • A highly organized and self-motivated go-getter. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while taking a proactive approach to identifying new sales opportunities and delivering set targets.

  • A tech-savvy individual proficient in using a laptop and common business software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). Experience with a CRM program (Monday, Trello, Airtable, Salesforce, or Similar) is a plus.

  • A valid driver's license holder with a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel throughout your designated territory. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must reside in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

  • Experience with the distributor and retail beverage sales industry preferred.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales of Rancho West beers in your assigned territory, focusing on both on-premise (bars, restaurants) and off-premise (both independent liquor stores and chain grocers).

  • Secure new placements and manage existing accounts with a focus on expanding Rancho Wests market share.

  • Represent Rancho West’s values and ethos in every interaction, serving as a brand ambassador and educating partners and consumers about Rancho West's unique selling points (including what it means to be USDA- Certified Organic / Regenerative Agriculture, etc)

  • Work closely with other members of our sales and logistics team to ensure optimal product availability and brand visibility throughout your territory.

  • Craft and deliver engaging presentations and participate in promotional events and tastings to generate brand awareness and drive sales.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all retailers and consumers.

  • Set the standard for excellence in follow-up and follow-through.

  • Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy adjustments.

  • Travel to company meetings and participate in regional initiatives.

  • Complete all administrative tasks and reports in a timely manner.

  • Achieve and exceed all sales goals and maintain your assigned budget.
